Dublin, 15th October — Maureen O’Connell, Founder and head of both 3 Hot Whiskeys Productions and the Dublin International Comedy Film Festival, has been announced as a finalist in the inaugural TrailblazHER™ Excellence Awards, a national initiative by Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) celebrating women who are redefining excellence, leadership, and innovation across Ireland.

O’Connell is shortlisted in the TrailblazHer Future Leader category, one of twelve categories that recognise exceptional women, changemakers, and allies who are shaping the future, from science and technology to education, entrepreneurship, the arts, and community leadership.
“I’m deeply honoured to be recognised among such inspiring women and allies who are making a difference across Ireland,” said O’Connell. “TrailblazHER™ represents empowerment, connection, and visibility, values that I strive to bring into my own work every day.”
